What's up everyone! I'm Samuel Farrand. I just want you to all know right away this is not a corporate brand. Every single design you see was made by me without using AI. Even the website design you see before you or the ad that brought you here was my own creation & efforts.
Tetramode is my fashion project. My goal with this brand is to provide the creative arts community a way to express themselves using bold, classy psychedelic designs.
I wanted a way where people could express festival culture outside of festivals by creating a tasteful blend of designs that amplifies your experiences at festivals and lets you be psychedelic in the working world but not in a way where negative attention would be drawn to you. Its actually quite opposite; l hear stories from fans all the time saying how people compliment their clothes.
That's awesome because what if that was the defining moment where that person thought about life in a deeper way and that encounter was the catalyst for raising that persons vibration? Thats my intention behind this brand to turn on the people around you and amplify your own life experiences at the same time.

Exploring Consciousness Through Art
Unveiling the Spiritual and Symbolic Layers in Every Creation
"All of my creations aim to illustrate the layers of consciousness as I perceive them. I begin all my work with a black background, which to me represents the space of unbound infinite potential. This space, often referred to as "the void" or "clear light," is a concept found in many religious beliefs and creation myths worldwide.
Creating from this clear light allows me to enter a deep, sacred space where I can attune to the subtle energies and vibrations of the world around us and, most importantly, within us. I enjoy expressing themes of ancient and contemporary culture, geometry, divine proportion, spirituality, architecture, symbolism, and nature. Each piece I create revolves around a theme, packed with symbolism and objects that tie it all together, creating its own unique dimension.
Creating in this manner is a spiritual experience for me, often producing feelings of bliss, excitement, wonder, and nostalgia. As an artist, my hope is that my art evokes the same feelings in you and offers a similar spiritual experience."
The Creative Process
My creative journey begins with the creation of simple line vectors in Adobe Illustrator. These vectors serve as the foundation for my artwork.
Once the vectors are ready, I transfer them to Adobe Photoshop, where I transform them into rasterized illustrations. This transition allows me to work with more intricate details and textures.
In Photoshop, I combine multiple illustrations to craft multi-segmented compositions. These compositions are meticulously arranged and masked out, forming the basis of my artwork.
With the groundwork in place, I begin constructing basic elements like grass, clouds, mountains, flowers etc,. These elements are added to the compositions to enhance their visual appeal.
To streamline my creative process, I save these finished objects into a graphics library. This library grows over time and becomes a valuable resource for future artwork. It contains a collection of assets that I can reuse and adapt for different pieces.
As my graphics library expands, I leverage it to create more intricate and complex compositions. I repeat the process, each time pushing the boundaries of creativity to craft more detailed and engaging artwork.
Throughout the years, I continually refine my creative process. I revisit and upgrade the objects in my graphics library, ensuring that my work maintains its high standard of quality.
While my work has become increasingly complex, I believe there is a point at which adding more complexity would not enhance the art. The simple nuances of my early work, represented by mesh waves and dotted patterns, are still visible in my older pieces.
By starting each piece at a size of 10,000 pixels wide and avoiding compression, I have the flexibility to extract sections from previous works and reuse them in new artwork. However, these extractions can be massive and contain numerous layers, requiring patience and powerful computing to avoid crashes.
To date, I have created 491 art pieces since 2011, and my graphics library consists of 663 PSD files, many of which contain multiple assets. Additionally, I have 750 files in my works-in-progress folder, illustrating the ongoing evolution of my creative journey.
